Mamu's Pirate Party!

So my little Mamu is almost a whole hand old!  He celebrated with a Pirate Party at the Park and had about 9 friends from school and t-ball there.  We'll tell the story in pictures, is there any other way?  We had a beautiful 80 degree day without a cloud in the sky - we couldn't have custom-ordered a better day!  Are you ready for some cute pirate awesomeness?  Well, wait no longer!
Mamu's pirate boat cupcakes.  These are by far the easiest cake I've made in a long time.  I really think cupcakes are the way to go for little ones parties.

We had water bottles and Capri Suns for the kids.  The water bottles say "Captian Mamu's 4th Birthday Party".

The decorations... and the only picture we got of Auntie.  She was fabulous and took all the pictures for me.

MG, Grandaddy, and Bebe- my setup crew and I couldn't have done it without them!

The Captain has arrived!

The boys playing.

For some reason, Google dislikes loading my turned pictures.  Sorry 'bout that. This is the boys making spyglasses out of toilet paper tubes and markers.

Matthew's balloons.

Mamu and his friend helping him with figuring out the treasure map. They loved the treasure map!

We're on the hunt!

The treasure!

Gold doubloons!  Party horns!  Spy Glasses!

We had pirate boat races - they loved them!

Mamu fell and skinned his knee.

Yeah for blowing out our candles!

Everyone knows the icing is the best part!

Mamu's friend from t-ball sat right next to him and loved watching all the presents!

After the cake and presents, they headed for the castle playground.

Mamu and his best friend from school played the whole time!

Mamu consulted his treasure map one more time before we went home.

Happy Birthday little man!

We went to Texas Roadhouse and celebrated there.  He did not want them to sing, so they didn't.  He wasn't sure about the whole sitting on the saddle plan.
